Yup... Mi note certainly is best value ever.... And battery life seriously is good especially since it is dual standby sim!!

One thing is I'm permanently on "performance" mode... Cos balanced mode I feel a bit laggy do typing.

I agree, manage to download and try MIUI 7 and also stick lollipop but went back to MIUI7.

Battery life is extremely good. however point to note, better to wipe out data clean then upgrade to MIUI 7 else like what mosprokett mention there is on the timeout download thingy from the chinese MI app from MIUI 7.

One more bug is my WhatsApp notifications are delayed or don't appear..... After awhile I realize is not a bug but rather a function of miui default security profile...

To enable WhatsApp notifications you need to add app to auto start permissions within security app...

I guess this strict security profiles is also what makes miui battery life so powerful

An annoying thing i noticed is that the phone seems to be sending or receiving data on its own despite me restricting everything on my phone. I always noticrd that the network traffic for my 4G data is quite high. Sometimes reach near 100mb per day without me using much.

One more thing...

Inside the task manager (left side menu buttkn) swipe down on WhatsApp icon it will remain "locked", so when clear apps ram it won't get cleared.... Just slide down on the icon, don't press and hold. There will be a mini lock icon appears on top of the WhatsApp icon.

Same thing happen to me. Go to installed apps and clear data / cache for the downloads app and download manager.. That solved it for me.

Yes. Miui is just another launcher. Mi note is still on kitkat.

Considering Mi Note or OnePlus2 as my next big screen dual sim phone. Which phone more worth to buy? Tried Mi4i before and my experience was not particularly pleasant due to overheat, lag and the bug on SwiftKey keyboard

On paper and pricing, one plus two is better...

Notice something today morning while I was awake to charge Hp. I off the set and connected to charger as usual. When I woke up 4 hours later is only at 66%, hence I on the Hp back n continue to charge and now it shoot up to 80plus % in less den 30 mins that I have awaken. Anyone have this issue?

Mi note pro still got heating issues?

Using Mi Note pro for past few weeks with miui 7. Overheating issue have significantly improved over past few weekly release. Battery life is also very good and can definitely last more than 1 day on moderate use.
