Yeah... don't know why leh... my current Xiaoxin Pad Pro still on Android 10... before I flashed it to international ROM, the Chinese ZUI ROM had many small updates... reading the feedback pages on TMall, it seems like the Lenovo China team is quite responsive to feedback and actively updates the ROM to get rid of bugs... but somehow the international ROM doesn't get the same love? My previous experience with Lenovo many years ago was similar... they always orphan their low end products... so I thought this mid-range tablet would be different... but seems like the same... oh well... it's still good and serves me well... so no issue really...

actually comparing these tablets with stylus (matepad, mipad 5 and Lenovo xiaoxin pro 2021), how is the writing experience as compared with ipad??

note taking, annotating and drawing.

also, ipad actually has paperlike screen protector to emulate real pen and paper feeling.

For WiFi model only, the differences between MiPad 5 and MiPad 5 PRO are following:

- Processor: 860 vs 870
- Camera: 13MP vs 13MP AF and also 5MP depth for PRO
- Speaker: 4 vs 8
- Wi-Fi: WiFi 5 vs WiFi 6
- Bluetooth: v5.0 vs v5.2
- Battery: 8700mAh vs 8600mAh
- Charging: 33W vs 67W

That's all right?

I would say the xiaoxin pad 2021 is the best value. Among the three tablets xiaoxin is the only one equipped with type-c 3.1 that can connect by wire hdmi to monitor or tv. The others need to "cast" wirelessly and suffer latentcy.

Lazada selling Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 pro only $500 & $600 with 1 month warranty. Feel like I too early buy.. Pay $709 1 year warranty..

Mi Pad 5 most likely coming to Singapore soon, as it will be selling in Malaysia as confirmed by one shop seller in JB. Pro version don't have.
