How to check? Thought its either China ROM or global ROM?

It is not difficult to install playstore. It is better to buy original China rom and then install playstore based on the answer from the xiaomi forum that I have posted here earlier. Just need to enable permission. Not all apps can Be installed on this tablet. Having an official rom with playstore won't overcome that limitation. I bought my tablet from Aiming Global when it was first launched. Back then there was not even any customs rom. So I gotten the tablet with everything original. Happily using it now.

phones and tablets coming with default android 8.0 technically should be able to run treble roms, but not guaranteed without bugs for now as preject treble is still at early stage.
