Not sure why JTBC advertised in Qoo10 as global ROM. Anyone can confirm it?
Either fake rom or they just installed play store to it.

My guess is that the USB c port is for charging only and does not support audio/data out.

Saw a review mentioning that the mipad 4 can also use to charge other devices. Maybe thats why?

Saw this in xda, this who want can try. I only got the wifi version.

The calling feature is not present in the tablet.
There is a reason there is no phone app in the system, and the only way you can call is through VoLTE and you have to check with your carrier if thats available for you.

In MIUI thread people have VoLTE calling enabled in china using their carriers, so you have to check if your carrier supports it,
If your carrier has VoLTE support but you still cant use it then:

1)Go to settings
2)go to storage
3)tap on total storage until you see a prompt
4)You can make a call by opening the configured VoLTE/video call/WLAN call option
5)Or you can use whatever app you use to make the VoLTE call and try it

Dont forget to hit the like button

Dont think this is VoLTE calling but calling via data plan with supported application like wechat (or whatsapp).

Just got the pad and when charging I can feel electricity running at the back of the device. Is this normal or faulty?

It will happens if the charger is two pin type without earthing.

Which handphone charger have real earth?
Earth pin is plastic for the chargers that I can remember.

Even those charger with multiports only accept a 2 pin input.

Hooted a Mi pad 4 plus at 397 with the $50 dollar voucher. Thought the retail is $380, so pay abit more for the shipping sounds reasonable.
