Wifi version has no internal GPS, only the LTE version has GPS built in

Its an issue even on my Redmi Note 7 where Grab cant detect my location even with my GPS switched on. Went to miui forum and found out that its a common issue with China rom due to Google’s framework and the GPS for certain apps can only lock-in in China.
