Guys, I've encounter an issue with playing 720P using MX Player Pro. When I play any vid, it defaults to HW mode and doesn't play, when I enable HW+, it plays the vids without a problem. I now set it to HW+ by default and vids play at the get go. However, it bothers me that I have to enable HW+ to play any vid. My Mi Max 3 has weaker hardware, MiMax 3 SD636 vs MiPad4 SD 660, yet the former plays same vids in HW mode just fine. Has anyone else face this issue with MX Player on their MiPad 4?

Just remembered I have a 512gb Patriot V30 mSD card in my Tab S5e, so I popped it into the MiPad4 and it recognizes the card immediately, and I was able to access and play the movies in the card without issue. That answers the larger than 256gb card support so I'm snagging a 512gb Samsung EVO Plus from my friend.
512gb. Super ex. My max 128gb only.

I have lots of ripped 720P movies (using Handbrake, ripped from Bluray rips) and lots of HiRes music (96kHz rips, DSD 64 and 128) so bigger mSD storage's needed. I have 400GB mSD cards installed in my P30 Pro and Mi Max 3, and 512GB mSD cards in my Tab S5e and the MiPad 4.

This is for all Berserk fans, while I was downloading my ebooks and mangas into my Mi Pad 4, I realized that Playbook now has the entire Berserk series on its site, at a very reasonable price to boot! I bought 34 of the 40 books available, I have the other six on Dark Horse Comics (bought them long ago at very high price/vol, before the region restriction kicked in).

So, effectively, I have the entire available series.....awaiting Vol 41. Needless to say, I have Berserk installed in my Tab S5e and Mi Max 3 as well. Now, I can enjoy it, and entire series of Claymore on my tablets and phablet.

Hey guys i am using the HAVOC OS with my mipad, but i have some issues. the bluetooth shows that my bluetooth speaker is hooked up to my mipad, and the mipad itself is showing that audio output is the bluetooth speaker.

However, in the end, the sound is still coming out of my Mipad speaker and not the bluetooth one.

any solutions?

hi all. i currently own a Samsung tab a 10.1 2019(3gb ram) and i find it kinda too big to bring around in the train and bus to watch video and read ebooks.

So im considering to downgrade the size to a 8incher. i can get a tab a 2019 8inch with spen (3gb ram) used and a mi pad 4 8inch (3gb) at the same price of $170-$210.

Any suggestion which is the better deal? tab a 8.0 spen is slower but newer while mipad 4 is much older but possibly better battery life(after taking into account the battery degradation)

huawei matepad t8, lenovo m8, tab a 8.0 no spen are all not in my consideration due to either 2gb ram or microusb

Is it difficult? Where did you get the battery from?

I found this video that shows the changing process. My experience of changing the battery is not as smooth as the video. I spent quite sometime to break open the rear case. (Also causes scratches to the case, and lost of fingernails lol:s13:)

My replacement battery (OEM from Aliexpress) was used to replace the old bloated battery. I messed up with the double-sided tape and had to use some force to remove the battery. (Had to do carefully, so as not to damage the bloated battery further and cause fire hazard)

Seems like there are some unofficial updates for the Havoc OS

My old EU rom seems lacking when I tried to play with PPSSPP (PSP emulator) so I just flashed to crDroid 6.9 (Custom rom).

So far so good, no input lag from the bluetooth controller (PS4), and the emulator runs well. :s12:

My own experience, its easier to open from the plastic part on the top
