Yeah, it did mentioned white only. Was actually hoping for more color choices..

Don't think so, MIUI seems to restrict moving apps to SD feature, due to app compatibility issue. :)

if i get the mi pad from china, will i have issues with installing google playstore and social media like instagram etc? what does flash means?

go google. there are steps on how to do it. me also china mipad and did what the steps are and now i have playstore inside.

Don't think so, MIUI seems to restrict moving apps to SD feature, due to app compatibility issue. :)

Some of us here gott it in the early days...mine is a pink unit.
had a friend with yellow.

waiting for mipad 2 (though might not b impressive) as N1

ah....if apps cant transfer to sd card, 16gb is confirm not enough to last you...say 2 years? :s8:
bcos out from box, 16gb will only have around 10gb real space bah...:s8:

btw, does mipad supports usb otg? :s11:

( i want a yellow one :(:(:()

true that. never thought about the small available storage space out of the box.

was planning to get it to torrent movies and watch on the go. hmm with 10GB ... download a few apps and max out liao. then must spend extra $$ to get 128GB memory card. =X

I used to own the mipad half a year ago. Very good tablet but felt heavy comparing to iPad Mini.

Performance wide should be close to nVidia Sheild tablet and slightly better than the Nexus9.

I guess it depends on how heavy a user one is.
I use my tablet as a productivity tool (i.e. no games installed), and I find 16GB more than sufficient.

getting a 64gb card is enough for me, bcos already have a 64gb USB OTG as well, buying 64gb card is cheaper also....
but it will be useless if cannot transfer apps to sd card :(

my usage will be surfing net like edmw :), dl and watch moobees & some prawn =:p, play ps emulator :D....so getting a mipad is more than enough? :s8:

Not sure about the PS emulator, particularly how much memory or storage it requires.
But for the other uses, 16GB in the device seems plenty.
Video/music/photos can be stored on the ext SD card, leaving the 16GB purely for OS and apps. Seems fine to me :)
