Now the most important question .... will it last >3yrs. Can only report back 3yrs from now. LOL!!

Oo. Just make sure your setup is safe can liao. No tangled or tight wire. Setup tv in a way that people/kids are unlikely to slam/bump into tv.

After all, IPS is supposed to last around 10years.

Oo. Just make sure your setup is safe can liao. No tangled or tight wire. Setup tv in a way that people/kids are unlikely to slam/bump into tv.

After all, IPS is supposed to last around 10years.

If the Mi TV 2 55" can really last 10yrs ... then ho say liao. Think 10yrs from now maybe 8K TV liao.

But seriously, 4K video size is already "scared die people" big already. Cannot imagine 8K video.

Your tv should have an optical digital out. If this is the case, then you can get an optical (toslink) cable to connect to the optical digital in of the xiaomi soundbar.
