I wonder how come it added so much weight to a 20 kg to 60.17 kg.

60.17kg is the volumetric weight, not the physical weight. 65daigou will charge according to the higher of the 2.

According to xiaomi website, the 55 inch tv weighs 17 kg, the subwoofer weighs 4.8kg, the soundbar's weight should be be heavier than the subwoofer. So, how can the physical weight 60kg? Can the wooden crates be so heavy? even heavier than the TV+subwoofer ??

I have bought a 49 inch xiaomi tv. It comes in 2 packages
(i) TV with soundbar - volume is 234240 cm^3
(ii) subwoofer - volume is 86436 cm^3

Total volume is 320676cm^3 which is equivalent to the volumetric weight 320676/6000 = 53.5 kg.
Since yours is 55 inch, the volume should be bigger, thus the 60kg should be the volumetric weight, instead of physical weight.

BTW, my shipping cost for the xiaomi tv is around $50, and I am not using 65daigou

150cm x 50cm x 10cm divide 6000 equal 12.5kg

Physical weight for tv with sound bar in package is 30kg

I uses EK Link. This TV is part of my large shipment of 1.76 cubic metres. The cost is RM550 per cubic metre. The volume of the TV and subwoofer (including the wooden crate) is 0.32 cbm, which works out to be around RM176 for the shipping. The cost of the crating is less than RM100.

produce1999 is right. the crate added extra 30kg in physical weight.

volumetric weight like very hard to calculate leh as xiaomi didnt provide dimension for the whole package. We can only guess for now until someone bought one and measure.

But the tv is only 1cm thin so I guess the package is about 10cm thin?
