Mine can detect and connect but there no network access. I suspect is the network setting that causes this.

Can someone share the IP address setting with me?

today I updated my Shafa market 4.6.3 and got similiar problem to yours.
I check my settings and found that my network settings is changed to "manual" and my dns has been changed to "114.114.114.114"
I uninstalled shafa, changed my network settings to "auto" , now can connect again..

There is easier way for rooted mi tv to permanently block to OTA update, I am using this method so far so good, still remain fw 1.1.70. If someone still need it I will share later when I back home....

Did the seller change the language to English for you or did you do all that yourself? I feel like doing a "hard reset" of my Mi TV 2 and revert back to 1.1.70.

But I just want to make sure that I can get YouTube TV and the "TV Plus 2.0" app running ok on it.

Yes you can buy the wall brackets for the TV and the sound bar separately.
SLS selling TV wall brackets at $39 but does not carry wall bracket for sound bar.
I am thinking if any bro here need any of them I can bring them in for the same price for both.

Apparently, the Mi TV 3 has a power point. But the soundbar, does not. It draws power from the TV via the Mi Port.

That means that the Mi TV 3 soundbar can ONLY be use with Mi TV 3.

But luckily, there is another version of the soundbar that comes with it's own power point.

I wonder the Xhome is better than the Shafa app. What about the OTG cable for the T2 tuner? Managed to work around it on the T230?
