same as Quest. bought it during the free agent promo and signed up for the prime trial. $2.99 for the international shipping and $8 for local delivery. $45 to crate it up. uncrating is a pain in the ass lol

i got the 55" though. my feature wall can't support any bigger TV :p

ah. found the display settings. felt so noob after finding lol
the qr code on the sound bar gave me some numbers though. or is it only available for android devices? any way to install it on the tv?

Wah, how much is the TV in SGD? So cost of crating + shipping over + local delivery is only $45 + $2.99 + $8 ~ $56 only? What super cheap!!

Oic. I purposely didn't want to have feature wall. Maybe I'll install 4 x 55" Mi TV* in future when they have super thin or no bezel.

No. Cannot install on the TV, have to install on the phone as app and control via app.

the tv itself is about 923
add in the rest of the costs +45+2.99+8+64(gst) total about 1045. quite cheap for the specs. sound bar is surprisingly pleasant.

i had the feature wall bcos i wanted to float my console higher on the wall :p
having a toddler around is risky with low consoles lol

wow 4 x 55" lol tts a little overkill haha. my 55" already feel big in my living room

oic. i guess i have to wait when they release the app for ios? so far only found for android....
would it be possible to control from pc?

You got the Mi TV 3 55" correct? Wah lau .... $1,045 is really cheap!! Yes, the Xiaomi soundbar & subwoofer are really not bad.

Actually, if what you want is only higher console, still don't need a feature wall. Or if you kiasu, can fit a temporary rack above the TV.

Can you help me check how much to get a Mi TV 3 70" via the same method that you ordered?

Not sure whether is there a iOS app. Xiaomi's style is control via apps on the phone. I can even turned on the Skyworth TV in my bedroom or aircon with the Xiaomi universal remote control device via apps on my phone.

Now when I am in my bedroom, if I find the volume from the Mi TV 2 is too loud, I can lower the volume via the app on my phone too.

the 55" just lowered another 300rmb (S$66)...
3799+200rmb ($879) +45+2.99+8+61 = $996

A 4k 55" TV within $1k budget :D

Turn on hardware acceleration in Kodi - System - Video - Acceleration. Might need to turn on advanced options to see.

I had try to play around the hardware acceleration and it still the same. No issue with other mibox TV.

Ok. Playing YouTube video on Mi TV is a problem since a long time ago.

Sadly, it is still not fixed. Since the TV is supposed to be made for China market, probably there is no reason for them to fix anything related to YouTube, since nobody in China can watch YouTube.

But if you were to were watch YouTube via your notebook (Windows), there will not be lag. So if you really watch YouTube alot, maybe can use your notebook or buy a small PC box with SSD & RAM for about SGD$200.

Kodi, my side seems ok. Is the video also jerky / laggy on Kodi? Can you confirm?

My TV area has no fixed part, so can still shift and change. That was one reason why I didn't want to have the feature wall.

What do you mean by "making all their products really easy access"?

Since you already has other Android TV box, use those instead. Don't know why, the Android TV that is built-in on the Mi TV has lag in the video playback for YouTube.

But Kodi playback is fine for my side.

Which version of Kodi are you using ? I am using Kodi 16.1 and install the latest mi tv firmware.
