Hello taiheng
can you write short manual, or just explain me what to do to solve problem with MITV update fail, please ? Maybe someone else has solved problem with MITV update fail at 95% ?

Are you rooted your miTV?

I've took alot of time to fix this update failure, few trial and error until success update. Thanks ugene provide the app for recover.

It is hard to explain, but I can refer you a link (In chinese), u need follow the steps to troubleshoot the update failure issue.

http://www.miui.com/thread-2605068-1-1.html

But before that have you tried enter recovery mode & restart into old version system? This might help you fix you issue as well.

Hello taiheng, thank you very much for reply, and thank you for link. Unfortunately I do not understand nothing in Chinese, also English not my native language, so translated via google page was very hard to understand. But despite this if I understand correctly I need to connect to TV via network using ADBtoolkit ? Than check what software is missed, and then copy missed software from .zip archive ? Do I understand correct ? If yes, I want to ask you one more favor. I unable download not ADBtoolkit not .zip with software. Can you help me more with this files, please ? ADB toolkit link returning message in Chinese I can not understand what it needed. And .zip with software links looks dead. Can you find working links for me, please ? Hope for you help.

P.S. I already make system restore, clean all files, boot to second system, do the same clean. Nothing helps.

Hi all,

Just to share that I managed to split the sound from Xiaomi TV 2 to either the soundbar or optical out to the AVR. A friend of mine managed to get this device customized for $40.

Please note that the sound output is either the Coaxial out or the Optical out. By default if both outputs are connected only the Coaxial out to the soundbar will get sound. In order to "turn on" the Optical output sound, simply unplug the Coaxial out cable and it will do the trick and connect it back when you need to output the sound from the soundbar again.

Though a little hassle, but at least I can now output the sound to the soundbar or to the AVR depending on the shows that I am watching.

Please pm me if you like to know more about this device as I do not wish to make this a sales thread.

IIRC, I think cannot. But you can refer back to :

Do take note of post made by "mrsun18". He (or she) had posted many information with regards to audio related stuffs about Mi TV 2. Do search back or forward to find the information.

Hi,
may I check with owners of MiTV3 if there is an audio output at the main soundbar which I can connect to the wireless/wired headphone?

Want to check that this output gives the full range of sound and not just the lower freq of woofer as the description seem to suggest that it is output to woofer.

Thanks for checking.
