is the tv coming to Singapore soon?

Dont think Xiaomi Singapore planned to sell it. Problem with ip tv is you never know when these link is going to get blocked due to copy right reason. Yes, some can go round with vpn solution. But is not for long term either.

Is there any kind heart soul that can take a foto of thier xiaomi tv with dvb-t2 tuner setup?

Why would you want a photo of the setup? Do you mean the image quality with a DVB-T2 tuner?

I tried using this procedure.

http://en.miui.com/thread-75982-1-1.html

but root failed.. I guess because the latest version block it.

do I really have to root it to change it to English?
what is good about rooting?

quite new here =D
You don't have to root just use an app that can access the Android settings to change the locale to English (US) such as Google Keyboard etc.

nope. didnt charge me. i travel xian - guangzhou - sg
TV alone weighs 29.4Kg. i didn't carry the woofer and speaker this trip.

You need to pack properly. strap only the short side of the box.
My colleague's TV panel broken. But safer to have wooden crate loh.
Airport mover in china can be quite rough. My check-in luggage damaged a few times liao.

I am going to Shen Zhen next month via SQ. Planning to hand carry one home. I am not sure i will be stop at the custom or not. Ha! I can see only badsector succeed so far. Any more case? :s22:

hey guys,

i just bought the MiTV2 shipped from china. so far the display is awesome but looks a little less vibrant than the 4k displays from samsung.

so here comes the problem. the screws for to wall mount are impossible to find. the closest i've gotten was one with the same diameter but the pitch between the threads was off. does anyone know which screws are suitable for the TV?

other than that. great TV at an awesome price.

So after almost 1yr, how is the Xiaomi TV2?

Need help

For those who had bought the XiaoMi Tv2 55 inch, appreciate someone can provide a few answers.

1. Physical dimension of the TV. Length and width

2. What type of mounting bracket it is using and where to get?

3. Is there a SD card slot so I can launch apps from it due to the limited 8GB RAM size.

Have a good weekend.

Saw a "xiaomi store" at SLS 1st floor. Probably a reseller, but they have display sets of the TV you may wish to check out.

While you were there, did you see that they have Mi TV 2 which we can "Cash & Carry"?
