Thanks for you suggestion. I have tried this method, but failed. A local TV repair man brought another TV set and swapped all the possible items to my TV, but TV refused to show display and I could hear sound from the TV.

1. Turn off the main power to the TV
2. Turn the power back on and then press "back" & "menu" button together

See whether can get into Recovery.

If cannot, then try this :

1. Turn off the main power to the TV
2. Press the "Power" button
3. Then press "back" & "menu" button together

My tv suddenly went black screen while watching and now unable to boot or hard reset, totally no display. Any idea to solve it or anyone can repair it in singapore?

Hi guys, I've purchased xiaomi smart TV 3 55 inch. I've tried reading all the page but can't find on how to root to install Google Play Store. Any kind bro over here able to advise?

And also read that xiaomi tv 3 55 inch can't use home theater system? Is there any workaround?
Been finding solution at xiaomi forum till no results at all..

someone here has issue with updating to new firmware after rooting the mi tv3...

Better know what u going to do as there's no support if u screw up

No. He couldn't fix it. I'm buying a T-con board from Taobao as a last resource before i dump this set. It was bought in last october from taobao.

Tried liao buey sai ley. I believe it's due to China ROM block installing Google stuffs? That's why finding ways to download play Store..

Hi. Just got my mitv3 60" yesterday. May I know how I can change the menu to english? I saw YouTube that it's located at the settings but I can't find it. I also found different methods (I.e. Startsetting apk and Shafa launcher). All these seems to be written for mitv2. Will it work with tv3? Mine is firmware version 1.2.00. Thanks in advanced

He tried with the board from the TV he brougt. Most of the online resources pointing to T-con board, so I want to double confirm it. It costs S$20 at Taobao.
