How to get such a Redmi 10 phone with NFC from the Xiaomi Global Store? I just checked the Xiaomi Global Store on Shopee which lists the 6/128 phone as $249... pretty expensive... how to get 6/128 below $200? Or close to $200...

I notice also that there is a Mi Global Store on Shopee... but they don't sell anything except the CCTV... is that a official store?

EDIT: On Qoo10, there's a Mi Global Store. That one is selling the 4/128 at $218 and 6/128 at $228... I only got $8 cart coupon... but I see a Grab $30 cashback... which doesn't discount the price immediately but gives you a $30 credit... this is very confusing... is this the cheapest deal?
I bought Redmi 10 4/64gb from "Mi Global Store" on Qoo10 and it has NFC so it's different from the local set which doesn't have. Now their 4/64gb sets are sold out... only left 4/128gb at $210 and 6/128gb at $220. Wait for Qoo10 to issue their usual $30 off $200 cart coupon and use it tgt with the $30 GrabPay cashback to get ur Redmi 10...

Oh thanks! I see... I think 6/128 at $220 is still ok... I will monitor...

is it worth getting redmi 10 or other xiaomi models?
*as usual* no NFC on budget local models, so is it worth throw away the warranty and get a NFC one?

I just received my second set of Redmi 10 from Mi Global Store on Qoo10 but this time it is a 6/128gb set instead of a 4/64gb set. Do note that this new 6/128gb set DOES NOT HAVE NFC and it is the same as the local set Redmi 10.

Ic.. r u still planning to get a new phone?
The phone is not for me... for some family members oversee... I need a cheap phone(s) so that my wife can keep in contact with her overseas family members... now can't travel so I'm thankful that I got the Redmi 5 for them a few years earlier... that was 2018, so now those phones are about 3 years old, which also means their batteries may be time's up already... so doing some pre-emptive research in case I need to suddenly buy some phones... I intend to use my Note 8 until it really dies... it's still excellent after a battery change... but Redmi phones, I think no one wants to change batteries for them... hahaha...

But I ask about NFC cos I also plan to get some cheap entry level phone lar... the flagships are priced crazy while the entry level phones are really quite good nowadays. so really exploring... I only text and make calls mostly, and surf internet... and receive OTPs for online shopping... so the flagship is a bit of an overkill... last time always use flagship but now can't stomach the price...

Redmi 10 2022 acquires multiple certifications

It seems Xiaomi is preparing a 2022 refresh for its Redmi 10 smartphone which launched back in August. The Redmi 10 2022 (model number 21121119SG) was spotted on the IMEI database by MIUI tipster Kacper Skrzypek last week and was later revealed to pack the exact same camera setup as its predecessor with a 50MP main cam, 8MP ultrawide snapper and 2MP macro and depth helpers.

Seems like this Redmi 10, and the preceding Redmi Note 8 & 9 are good phones... the Redmi Note 10 seems to have lots of problems... so perhaps the current Redmi 10 would be a good replacement...

I just received a set from Mi Global Store (prev. known as Goldfinch) on Qoo10... it is NFC-enabled but it's not a local set cos the product model no is different from a local set that I saw that has the EIN sticker on the box. I asked the staff at MobileCity (SLS) whether local sets have NFC and the answer was no... so there u have it...

Can u pm me the shop name or link? I can't find in qoo10.. thanks
