Yeah, checked with CPU-Z and sometimes only two cores runs at once. However, my 1S does gets heated up very fast when charging, which isn't a problem for the previous MIUI updates. :)

Firmware version 45 under clock CPU to reduce heat issue. So your phone is not running at 1.6G most of the time. Very disappointed with Xiaomi.

you mean v37 ? That's the best at the moment

(unless you mod your thermal control on v45)

You are right. V37 is the best. Unfortunately to downgrade may require to wipe the phone. Basically I just leave the phone one side. Is really disappointed with Xiaomi development.

Another issue is ram and external SD card management.

1.2G Q core has to be Intel ATOM lot.

Another issue is ram and external SD card management.

RAM management have been screwed up since the start I got the 1S, MIUI seems too bloated for 1GB of RAM. The Note may be doing better with 2GB of RAM since I don't see users complaining.

SD card management problem can easily be solved using WSM tools and xExtStorage to install your application and store your pictures into the SD card by default. I believe I made a post about it somewhere in the thread.

If you are using the 1S as a secondary phone, I would recommend you try out flashing the CM11 ROM onto your 1S. Pretty pleased with it so far even though there are minor bugs here and there. It still a better experience compared to MIUI V5 since it's on Android 4.4.

Most likely Intel Atom, or the Leadcore processor that Xiaomi recently invest in.
Btw, the new placement of the rear camera seems a little weird and "ugly" to me. Prefer the current Redmi series design. My two cents~ :)

Yes. Love Redmi hardware design that's why bought it. However the operating system is really bad. Xiaomi should really sell just the phone hardware and let people pick their own OS.

Guess they are too busy in selling vs ironing out all the bugs in OS.

Dont mind me asking, does any of your 1s come with this app -
"Google Keyboard"?

was fiddling with its settings and there was this attention popup that says - "This input method may be able to collect all the text that you type, including personal data like passwords+++...."

Can i delete this "Google Keyboard" away?
Will the "onboard default keyboard" then replace it?
Later no keyboard to type messages. lol

There's Swiftkey, Google Pinyin Input and Google Keyboard pre-installed. Swiftkey and Pinyin Input can be uninstalled but Google Keyboard can't be uninstalled.

you have try go the security under power , then go customize one battery configuration "CPU Usage to High Performance" ? Gonna try that now since the default is Balance. Hopefully it does get much faster... you can try mah then use the cpu-z and check of it? =:p=:p

I'm currently still on -

Android version 4.3

MIUI-JHCSGBD27.0

The system is prompting me to d/l and install MIUI JHCMIBF37.0 (Stable build)

Is it advisable to do so? I'm pretty fine with it right now as it is.

And another thing, is anyone using your 1s with the miband? I just saw the miband compatibility from the website, seems like 1s isn't on it.

bro, it is not adviseable... the latest one underclock till as wat bro here say, till 2 core runing nia... if i set to performance mode in the power, it will heat up then auto hang... but if i set it on hongmi 1, no such problem and also very smooth... haiz:vijayadmin:
