Very likely won't have global ROM ever, Hong Kong will be launching the Mi A2 series so no hope for that either.

I don't own a Redmi 6 Pro.

Actually. Mediatek chips tend to run hot. Was using Lenovo k8 note and it was cooking at 40 degrees. Going to Siam all. Mediatek chips. Why you guys choose redmi 6 over 5?

I think GPU wise, Adreno is a safer choice than Mali GPU. Next would be the PowerVR GPU. GPUs are equally important, besides the processor make yo.

yea @poker, can advise if you have successfully unlocked or flashed to the eu rom?

i still waiting for the 360 hours... omg.. but even after that i think i also dunno how to flash hahaha

And it works

I can’t flash to eu rom leh

Just sharing on my portion regard to grab app.

Just delete the App under Redmi 6 Pro ( More Apps ) Portion, and it's will work. I suspected one of the apps, may have block it..

I had also found that the Grab app, for Hitch service, location is not being reflected correctly. Example U re at Orchard, However the app, only show your last location example in Office in East side. do u have this finding on yr set?

yup u need to shut down the app and open again, same go's to google map

There is none, alot of people are asking for it. The moderators there simply brush off the topic with Answered on those threads.

Agreed, they keep releasing new (and useless) MIUI version with no regards to bugs fix and user complains.
