Think XM hv rollout/launch too many new fones at same time in order to generate pre-CNY sales or gain early market

so much so that its literally eating into each other sales

Anyway

this guy has made it clear in the video title

But moi find even the "early bird" price still ex

will wait till price drop then consider buying

Oh I thot chiu wanted to get Poco F4?

No need to apologise, btw, you still haven't mention your usage requirements.

Using "basic user" as rough guide, you don't need to spend $500. Until very recently, $300 would be enough, poco f4 on promotion. But oos now

If your current phone still working, recommend to wait for poco f5 or maybe x6 to drop price
x6 using sd7sg2, currently $339
f5 using sd7+g2, during promo, can be below $400

If you are spending $500+. I rather you buy Galaxy A54. Though redmi note 13 pro+ is solid, but the camera for the 2mp macro lens still a deal breaker, they could have put in a better lens.

Using A51 now, still receiving security updates but ending soon I guess so no hurry to change phone, just browsing ard only

A54 going for $390 for base model at ah beng shops, dun even need $500. But A55 coming out soon?

Looking at redmi note 13, damn cheap but afraid it will be sluggish like the Samsung A31 I used before but that was in 2020....

rmn13 using sd685, quite a low/mid-range cpu, need to manage expectations

poco models may be better value-for-money, e.g. poco x6, using sd7sg2

7SG2 is very misleading, performance is closer if not worse than a 7G1 than another other 7G2. Definitely better than 685, but not as powerful as what most people have thought.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 (China) Search "Dimensity 6080"
Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 4G Search "Snapdragon 685"

There is a lot of different Redmi Note 13 make sure you get the correct one

Looks like Note 12 series have better processors than Note 13...what a downgrade

Yes, the names are super misleading.
Snapdragon® 7+ Gen 2 ranks 16.
Snapdragon® 7s Gen 2 ranks 53.

The specs of POCO X6 and Redmi Note 13 Pro are almost identical (except the main camera) but the prices are $339 vs $419. Why is that so?
X6 got early bird price hence $399>$339
Other than camera nerfs, glass back also nerf to plastic back

IMO 13 Pro $419 exist just too upsell their 13 Pro+. Which for all things considered is a Okay™ price considering that is an early bird $529>$489. And another $15 voucher down(13 Pro don't have this voucher, No early bird also) to $474

Also get a free earbud

Which model worth buying?
All of them got NFC right?

Im thinking of getting just the Redmi Note 13 8+256.
Usage mainly banking, WA, taobao, borkerage,,...etc.
No gaming.

Currently using Redmi Note 8 Pro. It is still working. Very satisfied with it.

pls check first, usually basic redmi models no nfc

if u ask me, unfortunately, for your usage scenario, non are worth buying, can look at poco models instead, better value-for-money
maybe poco m6 pro or poco x6

Just received my rmn 13 pro plus.
Lol very disappointed with the camera😅 200mp my ass.

i had a redmi note 10 pro, the 108mp camera is sharper and color is better than redmi note 13 pro plus 200mp😅

i think the only pro about this phone is higher charging watt, new design(curved screen) in this series and 5g.

i thought the camera gonna b and upgrade from redmi note 10 pro but i was so wrong😑
