Hi hi, any fellow Redmi Note 2 users have experiences with the following issues

1. Rebooting out of the blue. I have encountered it 4 times, twice each on particular day
2. Camera lag of 1 sec from pressing shutter to shot been taken

Bought from MI SG, use for about 10 days. What can I do about it?

What ROM u use?

Hi guys, I just ordered Redmi Note 2 from xiaomi. Just wondering if the default rom of the phone is good enough to use, or should i just install a custom rom right out of the box?

Better to use the global stable V7.0.12.....can check if your set already flashed with this rom, if not recommend to flash with this rom.

Hi guys. I am having some problems connecting to whatsapp on my Redmi Note2 Prime after i click on the Cleaner widget. It will totally exit completely until that my whatsapp stay "quiet" until i open whatsapp then realise there were messages which was received but never pop up in the notification.

I did configure my whatsapp in the Security > Permissions > Autostart already. I also configured Setting > Notifications > Manage notifications. But both methods don't solve the problem...

seriously i never use the cleaner...it basically clear cache for every single app, for apps that use cache often like gallery will "suffer" to recache when you use them again...

I don't have the Whatapp issue. U might want to uninstall and reinstall again.

Anyone got issue pairing with bluetooth device? Dunno why my RMN2 can't find my sony bt earphones but my LG picked it up straight away.

Anyway, went down to Xiaomi svc ctr... they changed fromt camera sensor, battery and reflash the phone... hope all is well

go to home screen

press bottom left menu to open list of active apps

scroll to whatsapp icon, and drag it downwards. you will see a red (x) appear on the top of the icon.

it's nothing to do with clearing of cache, it's that your unused apps are being terminated. doing the above locks the whatsapp in and prevents it from being terminated by these cleaning actions

Yes. As long as one SIM is using 3G or 4G, the other will be forced to use 2G.

You could setup either the SIM 1 slot or the SIM 2 slot to use 3G / 4G; there is no need to swap the SIM cards around.

Yep I already have a Redmi 2, which is 4g+2g. Was hoping the Redmi Note 2 would have 4g+4g.

Game over in Apr 2017, when telcos shut off the 2G network..

anyone knows if there's any solution to this whatsapp issue?

When i receive 1 message, i can read it from notification bar. However when there's multiple messages from the same contact, it will list it as "Contact name- 4 messages" and wont let me read those messages from notification bar.

Is this due to MIUI or due to the new Android OS?
