u can click on the mobile networks for singtel sim for auto search.

I have already put it to auto search for the Singtel sim. But still cant display 3G/4G.

@walkofwinners, i am also using one prepaid card which is my Singtel SIM. (is a 3G/4G SIM)
I did call Singtel to deativate all data on this card, is this why it is affected?
But i can find 3G signal if i choose the Singtel card as the default for internet.

No lei. Note 3 got both MTK and SD processor version. If u go Xiaomi SG, it list Redmi note 3 with SD cpu.

SG Note 3 = China Note 3 Pro

China Note 3 is not sold by Xiaomi SG

Actually for consumers in the markets they are targeting eg India or China or even the official SG one on mi.com - there is only 1 main model. We are getting export sets hence we get a choice of choosing Snapdragon CPU better than Mediatek CPU for various reasons. If a consumer is unwilling to be inconvenienced to do a little reaearch to meet his own needs, then buy official from challenger/mi.com or follow the marketing message by the company ba

Or in the mass majority cases who buy into Apple & Samsung messaging they are the best phones to buy

I also cannot connect to 4G+ 3G. Same case as you.

With both Sim 1 & 2 showing 4g mean both connected to LTE for voice call only , for data wise you need to enable either Sim 1 or Sim 2 for data usage,you cannot enable both Sim 1 and Sim 2 at the same time for data usage. It got only one selection either Sim1 or Sim2 data connection.

when i connect my redmi note 4 to the pc, only a directory name is displayed (Redmi note 4). Not able to display contents and copy music files in this phone. What have i missed out? Sorry for asking such a noob question as i am a first time xiaomi user.

A heads up to those who do not want to get a China ROM set...

MiddleSky (in Lazada) or aka NewStar (in Qoo10) sells only pure China imported sets with China ROM preloaded!

They will tell you to fak yourself...Opps! ...I mean flash yourself to Global ROM when you ask them!

Yep new star one is China rom but middle sky one has global ROM. Maybe they changed to flashing it to global ROM first before selling. Checked with miui website and it is the same version of miui 8 after update.

iaomi always do this kind of thing. Even worse is some buyer may just lead by seller as he/she though gotten a good deal with Redmi note 3 but did not know there is actually different model and features.
