Hi guys, how do I download latest firmware? I go to the settings.. status to download .. it says it Miui 8.0 and is latest. I need to download 8.1 as I want dual 3G on both SIM cards.

Is this safe?

Go MIUI website and follow the flashing guide. You might need to update via Fastboot method.

Anybody changed the battery? Do u do it urself or bring to shops? After 1 year, the battery seems to drain fast & i tot of changing it. Saw youtube videos & seems complicated.

I'm using this phone as my secondary phone for close to 2 years. Do you guys notice that this phone speaker (not loudspeaker) is not so clear when having phone conversation? I need to move to more quite place in order for me to hear the voice while I don't encounter this problem for my primary phone (iphone).

I'm using a lot of phone call, that's why a bit worry to use redmi product as my primary phone. I don't mind with the camera quality and memory leak issue. This is something that I can accept for this price point.

Ditto that. It's was so soft until I have to press in my rmn3 into my ear to hear at max voice volume setting.

Currently using rmn4x and I tell you it was so much better. Using half of the voice volume range.

Try without the hack first?

Wah, like this better upgrade to rmn 4x. Or should i just wait for A1. Is it worth to get A1 with higher price?
Just wonder, what did you do with your old phone? Sell it away or keep it?

my redmi note 3 cant play any game. Play coinmaster 5 min the phone auto reboot and go into reboot loop.


also when i do system update OTA, the phone auto reboot to update, after that stuck in reboot loop. Left it overnight to update at the boot loading screen but morning still at boot loading screen.

anyone also experience same issues?
