Yeah! I have passed Note 4 and 5 after my Galaxy Note 3.

So clone WhatsApp can be used for my sim2 number in RN3? Right?

So to speak, Sim1 number uses original WhatsApp and sim2 number uses the clone WhatsApp?

not sure if a 2nd sim in the phone is a requirement. it should just need a 2nd telephone number

Whatsapp never needed the actual sim to ne in the phone. U just need to manually insert the verification code received on the sim into the whatsapp installation. At each time, each account (number) can only be tied to one whatsapp installation. That's all

I thought WhatsApp is tied to sim card number!:o

Update:Just checked with xiaomi CSO from China, it is a hardware limitation. So sad sia, use the phone for less than a year need to change phone again. Mafan leh...

I would wait for miui8 developer rom instead.
was using 6.5.26 on note2. not much diff with the stable 7.3.5.0, except whatsapp notification issue on note3.
