Does anyone has any issue with their fingerprint sensor with the current firmware?
I am sure I placed my finger properly on the reader when unlocking and the phone just vibrate(mean wrong fingerprint).
Sometime it work but most of the time it doesn't.

Do check if the sensor got any dust or dirt there.

I tried positioning the finger 90 degrees compared to the registered position, no issue to unlock the rmn3.

When register the finger print, have to register with different location. Cannot register with the same ideal position.

re-register your fingerprint?

some people register in 1 position, but then commonly use it in another position

just hold the phone as u would normally when u re-register, see how it turns out

I have removed all previously registered fingerprint, clean the sensor and area around the sensor of any dusts and re-register again, moving my fingers in different position/angle. Is working ok now. Will monitor again.

I do realise that if i purposely used a fingerprint that is NOT registered and try to unlock the phone more than 3/4 times which obviously failed, after that, using the correct fingerprint but the phone will still fail to unlock requiring me to use pattern to unlock instead.

If there some moisture on your finger, eg: your sweat etc or slight facial oil, the phone will also not unlock.

Are you guys experiencing the same issues?

Think is 3 tries. If cannot detect the finger correctly, it will ask for pin or pattern. Should be normal.

I think 7.3.7.0 has certain degrees of memory management problem coz my phone has rebooted twice out of the blue since upgraded to 7.3.7.0.

It never happened on all previous versions of roms.

To be fair, it could due to recent apps (rough apps) that I installed.

However, small matter lah as RN3 reboots and comes back on very fast. :)

Xiaomi Sg $299 with $50 mark up so the phone only cost less than $250 so it is not suspiciously cheap for export set and the RMB weaken a lot against sgd. just do a full functional check if you buy from Carousell.
On the dial pad *#*#6484#*#*

Simply loving this phone. No lags on mokee rom, screen size is decent and best of all, battery is a beast. 7 hours screen on time yesterday with 35% left.
