Warranty i don't expect much for not so expensive phone. My child's Redmi 2 got in locally, i think one SIM slot abit sort sort, also lazy to go service center to repair. hehehe.. Note 2 advantage is their OS already suits googleplay app. Easier to play around with.

On the other hand Note 3 currently only china OS right? What attracts me in Note 3 is their 3Gb Ram and 32Gb storage that probably works faster.

Had used Redmi phones, unroot one, even with their 16Gb storage, usually with lots of whatsapp or media chats, will tend to make the phone hang hang.

Anyone who bought their redmi note 3 from New Star Electronics on Lazada feels anything funny abt their phone?

1) mine cannot OTA update to 7.0.19.0
2) mine has a very funny serial number (under about device --> status)

as long as imei matches the box, i don't see a prob.

either manual flash (i reco dev rom) or reset and update (reinstall play store)

Im still using redmi 1.. Dunno wanna change to redmi note 3 now ornt sia.. Is the notification prob very jialat?

As for me the push notification is more important.

Yes. Note 3 not yet has global rom.

2nd, does this serial no tally with the one on the box?

New star electronics....hmmm...there is also a shop in SLS with dat name but dunno whether issit the same company, ..... use to know some of the ppl there.....if it is the same company, then all i can say to you is :

Ran antutu benchmark score also correct....
