I think got to do with the permission of the folders. I suggest you copy another of the backup. So both internal and external also have the same file.I've just gotten my Redmi Note 4G, and having 2 issues:
When I connect to PC, it only shows me the MI folder, but not the internal
storage folderI have been trying to check about drivers and all but still can't detect it on my pc (running Win 7)
However, when I use FTP connection, I get access to it.
I want to do this, because I want to transfer my WhatsApp backup folder from my Mi3 to new Redmi Note.
Despite using ftp connection (as I can't access it via usb), I am unable to transfer the backup file in. I created a new folder on my new phone, and tried to transfer just the backup file in, also can't. Its not allowed.
Anybody knows why, or how I can get around this?![]()
Would love my whatsapp chats back (not just the groups)
then u try bluetooth the file over to the other phone. Still cannot save the backup in the sd card then plug the sd into the new phone and then copy from there?
