So how is everyone liking their Note 4G so far? Thinking of getting one to replace my aging iPhone 5. How's the user experience?
Has any taken this to say the States and managed to get roaming working there successfully?

no major issues; the 8GB storage fills up quickly, but should be ok, unless you use tonnes of apps [or play a lot of games]

haven't had the need to root the phone (yet), but running nova launcher instead of the default launcher

quite a lot of goodies that you may need some time to experiment and find (e.g. tapping on the time in the windowshade goes straight to the alarm app, phone call recording, reverse tethering, etc.)

as an iphone user, you may wish to check on app availability and migration methods [contacts, songs, files, etc.] as android is a different eco system

A new Friday release of ROM -

As usual, you need to flash gapp by yourself and also, some of the stuff are in Chinese. So far, phone is working without any problem.

Anybody knows how to get to the Xiaomi service centre?

My Redmi Note 4G is stuck in a bootloop, totally unusable. Tried calling their service centre hotline and a foreigner answered. She like can't understand what I'm trying to tell her :(
