Anyone having prob with the stock cam app?

It doesn't work now: 'unfortunately cam has stopped' & 'unfortunately the process android.process.media has stopped'.

but i can use watsapp or other messaging app's cam function to take pics.

what could be wrong?

It was updated to latest firmware recently and this happened.

I also just updated my 2 day old phone to miui 6. But my yahoo mail notification is not appearing at the top. Anyone encounter this?

Does anyone know how to revert the phone back to miui 5? I think I prefer the older version because 1) no problem with my yahoo mail notification and 2) seems like internet faster.

Yes looks super complicated especially for a newbie like me. Maybe I will ask service centre to help. Super sian coz it was working great initially. I never thought updating would be worse. I thought there would be improvement. Thanks anyway.

Thanks but I blur liao. I don't even know what is BH22 you mentioning. Haha

I got no time so haven't contact xiaomi service centre.

I noticed when I send out email from my yahoo, even after 10 minutes, the email is not received. But if I use my Samsung note 2, almost immediate the email can be received. Also when using my xiaomi to email from yahoo, I noticed it goes into my Draft folder so I have to send from my Draft folder.

I google and found a youtube video showing you how to downgrade, looks ok. You need to download the BH22 older version and put into the sd card and then follow the youtube video to update, then wipe all data, reboot and if play market not there then you need to install.

To add further, when my phone was using version 5.5, I tested by sending emails simultaneously from xiaomi and samsung note 2. Email from xiaomi is faster received and notification is alao faster on xiaomi. Now totally cannot work with so much problem. Really regret updating but I thought since its pushed in, should be safe enough to update. sigh...

May I know how you do this?

Another problem is when I try to on any video clips of people posted on a thread in hardwarezone, my phone screen is black and it keeps trying (ie. the round circle thing shows its running) but it cannot play.

maybe configure yahoo mail using gmail app?

You may want to try the GAGT app. A much better HWZ forum experience.
Just click on my signature. :)
