Yes correct. Miui takes lots of memory. Also it does not support application install on SD card. So basically SD is used to store pictures and music files. If you use up all the internal storage. You are out of luck to install new Miui update.

If you do not have much applications. 8G is fine.

Not just under the sun, the moon as well

Mine seems to have problem with the ambient light sensor when under the bright sunlight yesterday, it was extremely laggy, but when going indoors it was ok again. Does anyone have this problem as well?

How can it be the heat?

Does the phone run hot when you see the performance decrease? It could be that the phone is running too hot and thus the processor throttle the performance so the phone doesn't heat up further? :s22:

Yes, unless you leave the phone under the sun for sometime.
Try cover the sensor with a black thick paper see if it improve. Also you can set the auto brightness control off to confirm.

It has to be quite hot by touching the back of phone if this happen.

Thx for the replies, I couldn't tell if the phone was esp hotter than normal or not as I had been under the sun for 20min or so, but my friends iPhone and Samsung phones didn't have the laggy problems even though we were together under the sun for sometime, only mine. I even rebooted the phone once and it was still like that. I don't use auto brightness too, always had set it to manual brightness as well.
