You guys usually set your phone to balanced or performance mode?

Does not make much different with Xiaomi. I find you have to reboot it once a while else it will get slower. Usually within 3 to 5 days. The early firmware seem much stable then the recent one.

2 days is possible; got mi band within 2 days via popstation

but we are managing your expectations mah; especially today got redmi 2 launch; so likely more deliveries than usual

mine was during "off peak" time :)

anyway, don't worry, you will get a sms to inform you that phone has arrived at popstation

No major issues. Value for money, camera is just ok (but I am more demanding about camera than typical users), storage space a little tight (ok if you control what you install)

Mi4 will not release in SG.

Yup. But I really don't understand why they don't want to release Mi4 in SG. I mean, what's the rationale? Because since they don't sell the Mi3 here anymore, they don't have a high-end/flagship offering. For phones, right now they only have Redmi 2 and Redmi Note 4G.

I do see a lot of people here using phablets(Note 4, Note 3, iPhone6+, Redmi Note) but I think there is still a market for high-end phones with 5" screen size.

the following is just pure speculation :)

bringing in a product to singapore is not a simple yes/no decision; likely to be dependent on issues like
- size of market
- stock levels [including stocks of critical items, e.g. cpu, camera sensors, made by other companies]
- development time of international version of OS [note: china version doesn't have google play]
- development of suitable LTE version of phone [note that mi4 sold in india is not the LTE version]
- clearing regulatory channels [e.g. IDA]
- aftersales support [training, spare parts, etc.]
- competitor analysis [is my product going to have many competitors at a similar price?]
- other products coming online soon [e.g. mi note]

that being said, i agree that there is a small gap in xiaomi's product range at the moment... can look at other phones; no lack of competitors with mi4 feature set

yeah, I believe that the Mi Note is to compete with the latest offerings such as S6, M9, G Flex 2 etc. :)
