Tempted to change my 4x to max 2.

I did it. Still not sure whether I'll stick with the Max 2. The larger screen is lovely, but the phone is definitely bigger and takes some getting used to. Nice to have more RAM and ROM though (3/32 on the 4x vs 4/64 on the max 2).

hi all, sorry if this qn has been asked before. Am using Note4X right now and using their Note app. I realised that this note app only have basic font and option to add in photos, no way to BOLD, ITALIC or UNDERLINE, or even change color of the fonts. may I know anyone used this and how to go about having some font edit in its note-making app?
Thanks in advance for advice

I always use Google Keep; prefer it over using any Xiaomi specific apps. Google apps sync nicely with all other android phones; I don't like to be tied down to a particular phone company's apps.

Not sure about apps which support rich-text format though.

well they create those phone to cater certain consumer lines of product.
what i means is that they knows what their customers is looking out for and have reviews and forum to check on it. therefore, they came out with the marketing value to which both price different for different segment of consumers.

like not all people likes a big screen on their phone but still want a screen that is big enough for their pockets.

Hi !

I'm confused. Is it the Redmi Note 4/4X that is different between the Singapore/China version or the Redmi 4/4X ?

I'm actually getting a case for Redmi 4X. I think the issue is with the Redmi Note 4X, right ?

Thanks for your help.

well there isnt much differences to talk about between note 4 and note 4x in terms of specs. but design is slightly different (iirc)

but redmi 4x is different from redmi note 4x as redmi 4x is like a better verison of 4(i think) and 4A.

den again with all these vairents can be confusing but its easily sort out with the specs itself.

redmi 4X (SD435)
redmi note 4x (SD625/MTK something which i cant rmb :s13:)

i would wait it out, redmi note 5 launching next quarter

redmi 5 series launching this month

maybe will have QC or dual camera, even if the low end series dun have it, the note 5 will have either one

Do note it will take some time.

(1) Redmi Note 4 (Mediatek) was released in August 2016.
(2) Redmi Note 4X (Snapdragon) and official global version and global ROM was released in January 2017. That's a lag time of five months.
(3) Prices will take a few weeks (months?) to come down to $168 for the new Redmi Note 5 Global version.

IF RMN5 follows a similar timeline to RMN4, then this will take at least 6 more months before you can find the RMN5 (Snapdragon) Global Version at $168.

Haha, it will be almost the same for 6, 7 , 8, etc. By the time the next model is launching, people will wait. End up not buying anything also good :s13:.

Dont need to worry as parallel importer will bring them in quickly.
Agree, Question is the price.
