So far only you. Why need to remove? why not just buy a non cam smart phone? i guess you using it in military or restricted work area?

Yea, I going to a red zone camp. I thought of buying a non camera phone, but all of them at $200-$300 suck, screen wise, battery wise, some is very thick.

Let me attempt to clear up the confusion.

Redmi Note 4 (Global Version, local set with one year official Xiaomi warranty) is always SD625. This set also has slightly more LTE bands which are targeted for the SG market.

Redmi Note 4X (China Version, export set) comes in both variants; MTK and SD625. Always get the SD625 version. Also, most local resellers reflash it with the Global ROM, which is preferred for most people.

Hardware-wise, the Redmi Note 4 Global Version, and the Redmi Note 4X SD625 version, are identical. Once the latter is flashed with the Global ROM, the software is identical too. Therefore, there is no difference between the Redmi Note 4 Global Version and Redmi Note 4X SD625 version with Global ROM, other than the fact that the former has one year official Xiaomi local warranty.

Separately, you then have the different RAM/ROM capacities. 3GB RAM / 32GB ROM is sufficient for most people. Some who have the 4GB RAM / 64GB ROM version expressed disappointment that it isn't a lot faster. That is actually to be expected, as Android OS is rather good at multi-tasking and task switching as long as you are not playing a lot of graphic and CPU intensive games, and 3GB RAM is more than enough for most people.

Hi. I have been looking at a 64/4 redmi note 4x, but trying to understand which is the "best" model for Singapore use. The one I should be looking for is 64/4 global rom export set, right?

- how do i know that is has snapdragon?
- is it compatible to Singapore 4g/4g+ network?
- OS is in english, right? Lol

Thanks.

Well typical there isnt a best model. its just that what u required from the phone. And for that matter u mention 64GB/4GB. I take it as u wanna get that model.

Ans for the 3 qns:
U have chexk this out with the seller. Dun just take the words on the website.
So long it support LTE band 3,5,7,(iirc). It will be able to use in SG.
Yes global rom is in english(supported with other languages as well.

4/64GB is usually Mediatek. It's safer to get the 3/32GB for Snapdragon.

Little india price quite standard at 175 for 3gb version.
However they cannot confirm whether is global rom.
But all say google playstore no problem.

However many shops told me 3gb version out of stock.

Global rom is not necessary means English version.
What it means is Google playstore is standard. (and without those Chinese pre-installed "software").
Hong Kong/Taiwan is Global rom too. But default language is Chinese.
