If noob i suggest you get the 250ish local redmi note 4 from the official Xiaomi Singapore which comes with warranty.

There is some slight difference between the china note 4x vs the so-called global note 4, mainly due to 4G band coverage. In any case these are the official specs for the four regions I know:

Better get the Redmi note 4 with local warranty for ease of mind. Dun end up like me suay got a lemon set,lucky still got 1 mth shop warranty but after that kakee jiat kakee liao.

If noob i suggest you get the 250ish local redmi note 4 from the official Xiaomi Singapore which comes with warranty.

Yup, the roms for all the sd625 devices are interchangeable with one another.

China's note 4 has a 4GB/64GB variant. That's not Tue 4x.
India already have a 4GB/64GB Sd625 note 4.

It should be a typo. No point re-releasing the China note 4 as note 4x.

Today at Qoo10. Price drop to $209 before any discount if you have one. So this is $50 diffrent between local set and parallel imported set.

They are really making very strange decisions, with this, how is it any different from the original 4G/64G Redmi Note 4? Slightly disappointed, was expecting the 653 in it but guess not.
