Seems normal.

Finally receive my set from JTBC. Took a total of 1 week from ordering and receiving it. ROM is 9.5.6.0(OIIMIFA) which I have to go back and check if its official global ROM or modified rom.

U bought from JTBC as well? Gonna need those who managed to flash to official global rom or bought local set to let us know the version. I went to the rom section but its down so I couldn't check.

Nope I bought from shop beside clementi mall. Don't know which one lol but I just updated the version via system update.

I don't know the shop got earlier month version then he said to get may batch. I also don't know why maybe just latest thts all nothing impacted

So far over at miui froum there is no indication of which batch is of faulty or issues with the handset.

Does it still make sense to buy from Global Tech now that their price is $319 vs mi sg $349? Since both 1 year local warranty

hmm .. for me i would wait.. let me give u a price gauge for 64gb black .. export abt 235 and warranty set abt 265.. that rough price i will buy.. have some patience price will drop.. wait for good coupon be it lazada or qoo then buy.. But if yr current phone spoil and u need it urgently then buy
