Bro, wait for Miui EU Rom. It is usually better. But need to wait for a while.

got my phone from Finer in Qoo10. phone auto shutdown and cannot turn back on. PM them on Qoo10 2 days liao nv respond. can anyone advise what can i do? i still see them answering Q&As

p.s. it's the China Rom that comes with the phone. i didnt flash any custom roms.

File a complaint to qoo10 customer service and I believe you can apply to return the item. But before that did you try charging it up?

ya, i tried charging overnight but no response also. ok I will try that. thanks!

TWRP done, but RedWolf is better as able to OTA.
Enjoying my RN5 with no ads .. :D

*Another RN5 still awaiting to unlock bootloader ... 600hours more to go...
Darm 30days wait to unlock bootloader...

This mean that your rom is AntiRollBack version.
Will be bricked if downgraded to non AntiRollBack version.
If you still do not understand.
Do only rom upgrade/update.
Do not downgrade.

I tried using flasher kit but subsequent interface became Malay language and there is no response after execution.

what ads? never seen one. not on miui global 9.5, 9.6 rn4x or miui china 9.5, 9.6, 10 rn5

From miui: there is ads in file manager/cleaner and etc..go to each app setting or about and turn off recommended tab.

Webpage: adblocker/dns block

Game: Lucky Patcher

Ads from system, website, yt and even games i can turn it off...:s13:
