lag or no really depends on the apps and number of apps u turn on. cos A1 by right shold not be laggy given that its running on pure android (which should be using less rams than any phones with the company skin on it.

They did improve the camera quality of Mi Max over time, so they should get better over time as well.

never felt any kind of lag from rn5. sd 636 has a very powerful cpu.
i changed my rn4 back button to left as it was more intuitive, coming from htc one m9. it ported over to my rn5 when i imported the data.

mine is laggy at times, kinda believe its the rom or some software issue, using CN rom. 32gb 3gb ram. even at times with mobile legend can throttle and freeze badly.

even my redmi note 4x can perform quite ok in mobile legend
