Redmi Note 5 Pro (Indian variant): 4G+3G. May have update for Oreo, launched with Nougat.

Redmi Note 5 (China/Global): 4G+4G. Launched with Oreo.

Both are the same phone, with SD636. Redmi 5 Plus (China/Global) is the same as Redmi Note 5 in Indian market, SD625. So pls check properly.

Only one line will use data at any time. For 4G+3G devices, the data line will be on 4G, while the other line be on 3G. Can swap between the SIMs anytime, just remember that pay-per-use data charges apply if you've exceeded your data bundle or if your plan doesn't even have data bundle.

I find it more powerful then my flagship mi mix.. I got 4 bars for my study room while mi mix is usually 2 to 3 bars.. And doing speedtest at same time the speed almost double

Just got mine from JTBC via Shopee. Ordered last Thurs, delivered yesterday. China version manufactured in April, was told that it is updated to global ROM. But the MIUI version is Global 9.5, 9.5.6.0 (OEIMIFA). Is this version legit? The same code I found online seems to be a Note 5 Pro ROM?

The device has some sort of SP already applied, doesn't look like what some of you guys have out of the box.
