After sometime, the phone was dropped. The sp cracked starting from that spot. So I gather that the sp is defective and weak at that spot.

Reason why I still buy from them is that they are cheap. I bought a $10/- sp before and it cracked at the earpiece cut out. So I can't tell whether cheap or expensive sp are good or bad.

I bought Nanotech (Nanotech) and Sapphire (Maxtech) before which I didn't have problems. But they don't have Redmi sp.

I also love pie control been using for my past 4 phones.. the only apps i cant live without.. big screen 6.4inch or small screen.. 6inch.. another thing is cannot disable and hide the buttons below if can is superb

i used many TSP for all my previous XM phones... this is the only SP i used that had this "halo". I think its due to the tempered glass being too thin i.e. not completely flat

else why else wud there be this... cos when i used another, no halo. (i have 2 RMN5 at home) but its not full cover

anyway i bot a carbon fibre to try... lets see

So redwhite mobile is confirmed local warranty set by xiaomi?

Edit: does it make a difference if the sets is meant for different countries?

For me black any time.. But no doubt other colors is nice also.. So far bought 2 black, 1 gold and 1 blue..

Anyone finds that the rn5 photos sre not sharp ?

I tried to compare with mi max, mi max is way shaper than rn5.
