seems like some of it depends on your luck on which rom they get from and sell it to you. but if you are scared, den just go for local mi store ba. that is way more safer and u can get 1 yr warranty.

Tried both Gboard and SwiftKey. Spell checker is on in settings (Google spell checker).

Seem like the Bluetooth unlock feature only possible for Xiaomi Bluetooth products. I can see many devices in my Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Bluetooth unlock list when I was at Vivo Mi Store, but I am not able to see my laptop and Car HU in my Bluetooth unlock list.

Also... I am not able to set up Bluetooth Tethering with my Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.

Anyone face the same issue???

Hmm...which ROM are you using? Anyway am not a note 5 user yet. But I'm using a few Xiaomi phone and did BT tethering without any issues.
