xiaomi last minute switch free uk adapter to redmi battery charger,
which is useless to note owner, anyway already has one rotting away
what a shame

just check, pb & headphone still avail for those interested
Yeah, planning to get the 5200mAh powerbank because of the free UK adaptor gift but since it's now changed to battery charger, had to reconsider whether to pay for it haha. :)

Xiaomi users, need your help!! faced an issue with my note while i was overseas. used two sim cards - sg and overseas, the overseas one is a data card only and was the default setting under my SIM management.

However only some apps could work under the overseas data card, like whatsapp, twitter, instagram and spotify. But all google apps, including chrome and maps, and facebook couldnt load at all. Went to the telco to test out the sim card and eliminated the sim card as the cause of the problem. Tried reformatting the phone too but still faced the same problem. It's so strange that only some apps can't work.

Anyone else faced this similar issue? Could it be that the phone failed to register the sim card? :s11::(

Did you go China? They blocked Google, FB over there.

Hi, can anyone advise where I can buy a Xiaomi Redmi Note? The non-4G one is ok. Trying to avoid SLS if possible.

The xiaomi official website says it's out of stock, so ordering from the main website is not an option.

It is not about getting from SLS or other shops, as can said 99% is fake. Only either get from Xiaomi or Telcos.

You went China ? Google and all related services and FB are blocked by the Great Firewall of China. Use VPN apps to leap that Wall.

I solved this myself. You can try if you want.

Remove battery and place phone on dashboard of car under hot sun for one hour. It will get damn freaking hot. Use pressure to squeeze all the areas where there is a yellow spot. Imagine you are pushing the yellow spots to the sides.

I did this and it worked. This was after reading feedback about the OnePlusOne having this issue too due to insufficient curing time.

You can send it to the service center. They will claim that they are changing the screen but in actual fact they are using UV to do the same. Why I suspect so is because I went to them but got the same yellow spots at the exact same places after, just more faint.

I have UV lamp (UVA industrial type). So just shine on it can liao? Any time cycle?
