Why everyone ask for miui 6? Current miui got problem?

Well I asked because V6 looks better than V5 to me.
Don't really wanna buy the Redmi 2 due to the 1GB RAM. It's bound to be laggy...

MIUI 6 Global should be coming very soon, maybe May or June 2015.

Hi people 1 question, I'm planning to buy the Redmi Note 4G on the Mi event which is happening in a few days time. I wanna ask if the phone is already running on MIUI V6. Is it official (OTA) or is it still in beta?

It should come with MIUI V5, but there's official Global MIUI 6 ROM available for OTA update for Note 4G.

cause current note miui is based on jelly bean, which is like outdated and slower.
miui 6 is cleaner and nicer too
KK is definately faster and some apps works on KK and above only.

i went ahead and use the guide to flash the miui v6 on my redmi note but after flashing, my google play or rather all google services stopped working. any help?

I think you flash to China version? CN version has no Google play and etc.

yup i did, i uninstalled google play and reinstalled but it didnt work as well.. so that means china rom cannot have any play store at all? i installed Gapps manager also cannot.. infact, even the mi store is not working.

This mi note is starting to get annoying.. After using it for 11months...internal 8gb actual around 6gb to install. When left less then 2gb,phone will slow down like ****. Good point is only the battery. Keyboard are delay when typing. I clear all cache and junk but still slow and sluggish... But anyway. China product and lasted close to One year, that's more then good already I guess

Anyone bought the Power Adapter Bundle with Mi Power Bank 10400 mAh? like to know if the power adapter output current. if its 2A then the bundle is very worth it, 1A then not so much.
