Bro, it's 8th July ya. Tuesday. Not tmrw. :) meanwhile you can go set up a xiaomi account first at their site xiaomi.com/sg if you haven't. Will make the process faster.

i already setup an account with xiaomi.com/sg and also setup a pay pal account. Read somewhere, they also accept cc ? Is it true ?
Thanks.

Oh, also note that there will be no accessories bundle for the redmi note this time round. They said it will only be in in a couple of weeks. :/

From video reviews I've seen it's probably better than the 400 in terms of performance, but loses to the 600 (scores lower compared to HTC One). Though not so sure about power efficiency. According to review by Sidney from HWZ, power efficiency is not that great. Hopefully it's just a matter of software optimisation.
Hi Alex,

The power efficiency is based on the standard video test that we conduct for every phone review. As many of you have pointed out, our video test does not take into account the different maximum brightness levels of phones and the outcome will vary across the board.

That's why I have included the real world usage stats as part of the review to give you guys a more accurate gauge of its battery performance.

I've been using the Redmi Note for more than a week and find its battery life to be great. I consider myself a power user cos I WhatsApp like crazy, surf the Web and go through social media apps very often.

Hi Sidney, thanks for clarifying. Also nice to hear that battery life is great too. Now... Just have to get our hands on one... Lol.

Hopefully will? Lol. If I recall mediatek's source code for android are closed sourced, and they should be or should have already released the codes for 4.4 to manufacturers. :/
