It's not consistent. Like first batch, sale on tuesday as well. Some got it as early as friday. while some got it as late as wednesday night. The phones might be in singapore already, but doesn't mean the courier will ship everything out in the same day. It will be spread across.

Guys mine being shipped here on Fedex. Order on 22/07/2014, tracking shows,
" At Local FedEx facility" Location : Singapore SG.
But Estimated delivery : 31/07/14 by 12 PM.
Wondering when will i really get it. Worried of missing the delivery at my door step.

The case I bought on eBay is here. This is not original Xiaomi case, since they don't make it in this colour from what I can see on their China site. About S$8.

It feels pretty cheap. The red paint job isn't completely even, there are a few raised spot from imperfect paint job. The button feels pretty cheap too. Since I don't have a Redmi Note anymore, can't be sure how it fits though.

Have not buy anything for Note yet. Not even SP

if it's by UPS it goes on asia tour often. Lol. first batch of Redmi Note did as well. Before that for Redmi also the same. Also the same, the plane arrived on friday morning nonetheless.

no idea, this one was from a friend. The first batch of redmi note, UPS tracking stopped working since the package left shen zhen, china. Everyone's expected delivery was stated as 17/07. but it's more like a delivered before 17/07. Everyone got theirs on a different day. Not sure if it's accurate this time round.

hahaha. I even tried turning off the device to charge, also very slow. using the 1A charger though. I think it's a limit on the device itself?

Ridiculous Fedex.... The one i ordered on 15th Jul still yet to deliver.. the UPS i ordered this week already in SG.....

Amount of current to take in is defined by the phone not the charger. If the phone wants 2A but charger only provides 1A, then limitation is on the charger.

But it's not the other way round where 2A charger force feed the current into the phone. If the phone wants 1A, it will only take in 1A from the 2A charger.

This can be demonstrated by Apple's family of devices and chargers, for example.

haha, thanks for the explanation. Nonetheless, the phone charges up too slowly already. If you use the phone while charging, even worse. To me easiest is to get a spare battery and charger. Whenever battery low, swap in a charged one and charge the empty one using the external battery charger.

why very slow, u all got use the default cable that comes with it?

my is quite fast. about 80 percent in around 2hrs+? the charger ony 1a.. so i guess is around there.

if want to be fast, use xiaomi powerbank to charge yr phone.. that one very fast..confirm.. tried liao.
