Thought only one order per one account ?

HUAT AH!
With sheer determination comes 03 new devices for TheGeekyBeng | TheGeekyBeng
Precisely, if really need a note and can find on at $10 more go for it. Otherwise those prata flippers can leave their prata overnite and eat it themselves and kanna food poisoning![]()
Wah say, how did you manage to do that, buying 2 phones within seconds? Impressed.
“物以稀为贵”。。
Its a chinese saying that goes to describe rare items being "valuable".
Their tactic is a form of advertisement. When they release in small quantities, many people will try to buy it, but those who did not get, will try again the next round.
With this tactic, the products in the market remains rare and that many people will still be curious about it.
With the low pricing, it encourages people to hold on their other purchases first in hope to get xiaomi the next round..
Therefore, such tactic will help to prolong the survival of xiaomi in singapore's market where not many people know xiaomi as of now.
In china, if u are able to get a genuine xiaomi device for ur friend, u are somebody. Ppl look u up with class.
i didn't order. i just add to cart and secure the order and see if anyone wanna swap their note with 1S. if no one wanna swap with me. i wont make the payment and i will just cancel the order in 24 hours
Actually, I don't understand xiaomi's business model here. They release their products in small batches that irritates the hell out of customers. Even now, if you go to their website, the Redmi 1s, Mi3 and Note are ALL OUT OF STOCK. What kind of stupid online sales site has all their phones out of stock all the time?
You need to make the payment within 12 hours, not 24 hours as stated on their Facebook.

To all flippers..It has started. Already there are people selling their Redmi Notes in the Phone Bazaar. Despicable.
I can understand the frustration from consumers. However, looking from a sales company standpoint, its a brilliant and rather successful strategy.
1 word - Sustainability
Imagine the headlines on social media and press tomorrow.
Redmi Note sold out in 42secs.
Regardless of the actual amount being sold is only 5k, its still a very news worthy headline that is sure to generate more hype for the next sales.
Just wait for next round .. its just a cheap bulky phone. No biggie. Zenfone still better in some ways.
Didn't know ulefone and coolpad are quite known already. Am beoing their 7" bezeless phones.True, I have to hand it to them. I hope other low price brands (Ulefone, Coolpad) come into the market officially, and bring some competition

weird that different country has different battery capacity. SG version think 3100mAh, while i've seen 3200mAh.
Edit: They downgraded the size of the battery for SG model, or was it just an error previously? Below is a cached version of the page a few days back. Now if you go see the page, it says 3100mAH.

I discovered a tip. I downloaded this app called the 'screen lock', and it can be activated when you long press the menu button. Meaning you don't have to press the physically button to lock the phone. Awesome.
But, although there are many apps that can lock the phone, only this 'screen lock' app can have the shortcut. Unsure why.
Now, if only Xiaomi can improve their kernel and allow tap/swipe to wake phone, that'll be perfect.

WOLS.............![]()

I mean if 3200mAh was correct, why last minute update the site to reflect 3100mAh? I know some reviews on youtube i've seen said 3100mAh which is the same as what is advertised on their China site. Perhaps the 3100 is for the TD version, and 3200 is for other countries' version, but the SG version they have shortage of 3200, so just ship with 300 first. LOL. That would be pretty F-ed up.
Guess we'll find out when people get the devices.
