Coming from a slew of high end phones like note 3, Z2 and G3. The performance is pretty good and there is something about the note's built quality that i really adore. On a negative point, i am still trying to adjust myself to 3G speed. The difference is there compared to LTE. Charging speed is slower than the rest of my phones.

The HDR does improvement the quality a little but it takes a little longer to process each image. As with many lower end camera, the images are a little grainy in low light.

Yes, I always do that anyways. I am sure you will wait to go try the phone out, install apps and all that. Go right ahead, the worst that can happen is that it takes a little longer to fully charge the phone.
