Lol. The bugs were known a while back. Like not being able to save photos to SD card. The phone did launch in China first.

anyone who has tried this out? can the redmi note save photos to SD card directly?

Tried search, but but can't seem to find a easy-to-understand guide.

Anyone managed to successfully root it and install apps on SD card? Recently found out that apps are constrained to the onboard memory, bummer.

Btw, is there a way to experience the stock android or are we stuck to using the MIUI?

You should post on their facebook with photos n your experience of needing to wait for repair after just getting the phone. QC seriously needs more work.

So i reckon its already long repaired? Have you posted on their facebook? It could serve as a wakeup call on their replacement policies as there is gonna be another flash sales soon tomorrow.

my redmi note suddenly stopped detecting my earphones... it was working fine earlier

I went to settings and noticed that the whole menu options under misound enhancer is unavailable for selection (greyed out and cannot tap).

anyone facing same problem??

Off and on your phone and see if that works. Could be a crashed app somewhere.

Noob question. How to remove duplicate icons on homepage? Press hold and drag to recycle bin will prompt me to uninstall the app.

tried to on/off and reboot already.... still got same problem

EDIT: After rebooting and switching on/off a few times... it's working again =/ apparently it's an intermittent problem... maybe need to buy xiaomi earphones to resolve this problem completely? any feedback about the xiaomi earphones?

Then I am not sure. I plugged in the earphones and the Mi Sound menu is enabled. It could be a contact issue or something is wrong with the phone.

Is the ringtone and vibration better on the note than the redmi 1s?

Locally there is only one which is the 1.7Ghz model while in China there are 2 different models.
