Xiaomi redmi note

Hi, windows 8 does not have native drivers for redmi note right? So this set of drivers must be installed for Win8 to recognize the phone?

I actually installed that driver for the Redmi several months ago and am not sure if it is actually necessary.

I think if I recall correctly when I plug in the Redmi note to my Windows 8, it did install something on its own. I am not sure if it is by default or because I had the Developer mode enabled.

My 15th order arrived at about 9.30pm just now, delivered by FedEx.

Bought the soft cases for the Note... only the black one fits well... the white one too loose... cannot use at all. Going to contact Xiaomi tomorrow ask them send me new one.

Also ordered a Baseus AIR case from Aliexpress... Hope it comes earlier...

i have no idea on the capacity of the memory card. On the battery, the answer is no. The sizing, specs and pricing are all different from redmi 1/1s.

Just to add, the redmi 1/1s battery is rated at 2050mAh while the note battery is 3100mAh. Even if you can fit the smaller redmi battery into the note, it will not be enough to power it for long.

I remember someone did put in a 64gb microsd into the redmi and it worked. Personally have not tried it yet.

I'm having this issue whereby whatsapp msg sometimes do not get pushed automatically. I have set to 'always pop up', but sometimes it doesn't work. I have to go into the app them the msg will appear.

I have locked whatsapp to prevent it from deleting it from background, have also 'trusted' the app in security.

Anyone else having this problem on their note?
