How to you guys end tasks with miui.. I notice it does not have the built in end task app which is available for every android phone after a long press at the central home button

I am comparing the redmi note to my main phone ( Samsung note 3) and I realized for $199 you really do get a lot for your money

I use the redmi note with my note 3 side by side and the redmi note battery far exceeds the note 3, which is why now I do all my media consumption (movies, Spotify etc) on my redmi note Coz the battery is super good

Go back to that particular theme page and scroll all the way to the bottom, you will see a delete button. You will need to flick that window all the way up.

Agreed. A value for money toy. I am using side by side iPhone 5S. Battery is quite good.1280 x720 is really good enough. I used it to watch YouTube while playing game on my iPhone 5S.LOL

That's quite possible because the display resolution is different on both devices. Note 3 display could consume higher power.

means you don't need the high end features of samsung note 3 and thus can save $$$. you probably never even use the S-pen right?

The Redmi Note is definitely a good smartphone to buy for that price.

I've changed from iPhone5S>Redmi>Zen5>Redmi Note.

I previously did a short review on the Redmi Note using my friend's unit. And my major complain was the screen. Have to admit that I'm wrong. The Note's screen is amazingly gorgeous. My video podcasts and movies have never looked better. I dare say its practically on par with the iPhone's retina display. Showed it off to a couple of friends, and they were equally surprised. Not too sure why considering Note's DPI is lower. Try running a full 1080p mp4 and you'll understand. I suspect its also cos of the Note's processing power as MXPlayer uses HW rendering.

And of course the batt life. Best I've ever had.

Only complain .. is its weight. Well, getting used to it already.

I have to say, I'm someone who doesn't really care about display and stuff. I can watch a 720p show and 1080p show and don't find much of a difference. But I give the credit to my Note 3. Comparing my note 3 with Redmi Note, I have to say the Redmi Note display is really not comparable with note 3. It's like comparing a vios and a subaru. Battery life is very good, deep sleeping I lost about 1%, wifi on, no SIM card though for a span of 15hrs. Haven't place my SIM and try to see how long it'll last. But at 199, there isn't much to complain about.

tried to use sandisk cls 10 64gb mirco sd doesnt work also says sd card damaged even after formatting it also cannot.
the microsd does work on my pc dun knoe wats the workaround for it

Been using since launch. Ditch aside my iPhone and lg g3. For the price of 199 it has been awesome to use. Never encounter any issues and able to handle any apps or game I try to run. No over heating issues and stuff. Am looking forward to purchase 1 more set just for the fun of it
