Go to whatsapp database folder. Delete every thing inside except msgstore.db and msgstore.latest date. Reinstall whatsapp.

If want to reinstall back up from previous date do the same thing leave msgstore.db and msgstore.desire date in that folder and reinstall whatsapp.

Thats how i help my friend caught her husband notty whatsapp message to others hehe.

Btw for info. My 1s is install 2 whatsapp 2 different account and it works. Now waiting for note to see can do the same thing or not.

I have a 32GB SD card installed , when I try to install a Line app it prompt the memory not sufficient , but I check I still have plenty of memory ?? Why the SD card memory not recognize by the app? Any setting ?

I tried to restore chat history but can't make it work. Im follow below steps... Hope someone can get me to collect ways.
1. Backup whatapps at old phone
2. Copy whatapps folder from old phone to sd card
3. Insert sd card to xiaomi note
4. Install whatapps n setup
5. Key in hp number N verify
6. Whatapps auto completed setup but no restore option.

What wrong ?

Updated to V30 via TWRP. After the update, root will be lost, so have to re-root again. It reinstall all the google apps that I have deleted, so have to do another round of deletion again. Yes, photo taken by camera can be saved to SD card now. On the camera setting, there is an option to Save To SD. Overall, it transition effect is "smoother" than V29. PS: Remember to do a backup before flashing the update.

Finally update to latest v30 for China WCDMA version.

All root, TWRP, WSM working perfectly fine.

The direct save camera photo to SD Card is big bonus.

I also found out it is much smoother than v29, disable scrolling cache no longer needed and recommended don't turn on.

For those that can't get OTA, just download at original miui.com site not end en.miui.com as no updated at english site yet.

Last one WCDMA 国际版 is Global WCDMA edition. The WCDMA wise is China WCDMA edition.

Tried Chrome ? No issues using it. Stopped using dolphin and did not use default browser

as stated before, google took it out of android from 4.2 onwards due to stability concerns. no more native support

for a firmware based on 4.2 and above to have this native support u must then have the firmware writers to put this function in themselves. it's not easy to write and implement stably
