i think the 8GB has run out but I have a 32 GB SD. Why can't they allow app to install on SD ?

this u gotta ask google.

anyway.. 8gb shld be more then enough for apps.

especially now that yr video etc can go to sd card

Finally update to latest v30 for China WCDMA version.

All root, TWRP, WSM working perfectly fine.

The direct save camera photo to SD Card is big bonus.

I also found out it is much smoother than v29, disable scrolling cache no longer needed and recommended don't turn on.

For those that can't get OTA, just download at original miui.com site not end en.miui.com as no updated at english site yet.

Last one WCDMA 国际版 is Global WCDMA edition. The WCDMA wise is China WCDMA edition.

Tried Chrome ? No issues using it. Stopped using dolphin and did not use default browser

Just got mine ytd, anyone here having issues with wifi? ie Internet browser slow in loading Web pages, same issue with default and dolphin browser

The wifi is surf up to 65mps. its not an issue. Its just how the note works.

worked almost years in my note 2 with no sync issue
should be miui

chrome scrolling is jerky sian

It's been loading slower than my note 3 also with dolphin and jetpack.

I am still on v25 rooted. Can I just manually go to the updater manual, select the full v30 firmware and flash? Or must I do it via the phone's recovery after clearing dalvik cache etc..

XiaoMi Note don't have this flip cover closed , phone goes into power saver mode feature.
