hi, anyone knows where i can get my xiaomi redmi screen repaired. i dunno how it happened but i left it in my bag n the next day i saw that the screen had cracked so there's one long diagonal line on my phone screen nowi didnt drop my bag or the phone, n my s4 was inside my bag too, but nothing happened to my s4
anyone knows where to repair the screen n how much it will cost? this kind sure not covered under warranty right![]()
I'm using this also as my main phone, replacing my old nexus 4.
Overall is good. Much better battery life, bigger screen. about the same speed (although nexus 4 is more smooth). More importantly, support sd card. My old nexus 4 is only 8gb, no sd card. I can't put any music, photos, videos, etc...
do u think those ah beng handphone shops can repair? or only can bring to service centre to repair? i dont like gg service centre cos must wait... n also this type of problem usually not covered by warranty oneTry to bring to the service centre.... Tell them the actual story. Insist you never drop the phone / the bag... Tell them it may be defect on the screen, to sensitive to temperature changes, etc...
1 diagonal line crack is not the usual crack pattern of the phone dropped. It can be caused by defect on the original screen..
if you select POPStation as your delivery mode then you can expect your Redmi Note to be delivered within 3-4 days.I just ordered yesterday. Hopefully can receive it by end of the week, after seeing some members here receiving it 3 days after ordering in previous sales.

sounds like something in your bag bent your phone, i.e. 2 diagonal corners got pushed in 1 direction while the middle of the phone pushed in the other direction, to form a U-shapehi, anyone knows where i can get my xiaomi redmi screen repaired. i dunno how it happened but i left it in my bag n the next day i saw that the screen had cracked so there's one long diagonal line on my phone screen nowi didnt drop my bag or the phone, n my s4 was inside my bag too, but nothing happened to my s4

The touchscreen itself cost abt 15 in ebay (not original). Plus labor cost, I'm not sure. may go up to $100.
They may not have stock for the screen, so you have to wait also. I can't find any redmi note screen replacement guide, but based on the redmi guide, it shouldn't be too difficult to replace the touchscreen. They are not glued, but used double sided tape.
But bear in mind, you'll break the warranty this way.

why put a phone in a bag? no protective casing/cover?
lol a $10 casing would have protected against that damagethen what if i repair the screen at the service centre? will it still break the warranty? will it be cheaper to repair at the service centre assuming this is not covered by warranty?
i have no idea either... no protective casing bcos its not my main phone. its my 2nd phone so i dont use it often but i still bring it out in case i need to use it. i just put it inside my bag n was out the whole night, didnt check it until the next morning when i woke up n got a shock bcos i didnt even drop my bag at all. no idea how it happened too but damn sian bcos repairing the screen = need to spend money![]()
casing also protect the back only right. unless buy those flip casing or what lo. bcos its the screen that got the crack... i also really no idea how it happened but just damn sian. i dont even use the phone often lolol a $10 casing would have protected against that damage
i think you had something heavy in your bag ba, it probably was near the bottom of the bag and got pressed heavily, and u were so suai the pressure happened to bend your phone in a U-shape that resulted in that fracture
very hard to keep track of forces in a bag with many odd-shaped items clumped together, i prefer to put my phone in my pocket all the time. evne when i really have to put in the bag, i ensure it stays at the top of the pile
ya i was referring to flip casings with that teensy bit of cushioning that might have made a differencecasing also protect the back only right. unless buy those flip casing or what lo. bcos its the screen that got the crack... i also really no idea how it happened but just damn sian. i dont even use the phone often looh well. now just need to find how to repair the screen.
